About Campus Activities Magazine...
W.C. Kirby founded Campus Activities Magazine in 1991 and has more than 25 years in campus entertainment including eleven years as Director of Advertising and Print Services for NACA (National Association for Campus Activities). With the support of many artists and agencies, the publication started out with around 3,500 campuses and has grown to more than 4,200 schools, over 500 artists and agencies, all of the major television, cable and casting companies as well as many of the major and independent record labels as our audience,. Within the first year, it became the most dominant publication in the country with artists, agencies and student buyers everywhere noticing the difference. It became buyer friendly and the publication actually surveyed schools to see what kind of acts and shows they wanted. Fifteen years later, it is the world’s #1 resource for campus entertainment. Now reaching every campus in the country, artists clamor for exposure in its pages. The publication also sports the only national awards process recognizing the best artists, agencies and school programs. The staff creates opportunities to keep students involved with the magazine, including free concerts to schools that top the list in participation with the “Artist Report Card”.

Max Howard from the American Guild of Trade Publishers put it this way, “This is a magazine students want to read. It is classy, graphically appealing and it brings the shows to them. No wonder it gets such astounding marks.”

Campus Activities Magazine operates as a resource to bring student buyers together with the artists and agencies who cater to the collegiate market. Our aim is to introduce students to new and innovative programming opportunities while letting them know about some of the more popular performers and shows other institutions have found. We have been rated by our buyers better than 10:1 over all other publications COMBINED. If you scan the pages of any issue, you will find exclusive interviews – not only with well known acts, but artists we feel are making great strides in attracting campus audiences.

Over the last 15 years, we have built a partnership with our advertisers. They are clients second and family first. We talk about solutions to problems they may have with promos or ideas on how to make their agency or acts more appealing. We help them critique their campaigns and make adjustments so the exposure is not wasted on products that won’t be read.

We are extremely proud of the reputation this magazine has earned and the awards we have received. Our customer service is second to none because we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Welcome to our family!
