Welcome to the exciting Campus Activities Magazine Student Ambassador Program.  As a student ambassador with the World’s #1 Entertainment Publication in the campus market, you will have access to the most unique and exciting opportunities of any of your peers involved with campus activities. Being an Ambassador requires no official membership, but is asking you to be our eyes and ears on your campus.

A few of the great reasons to be a student ambassador include:

• Place your school in the running to be selected for the Campus Activities Live feature highlighting your activities board.  Only schools with ambassadors will be chosen for the spotlight.
• Receive a special individual spotlight within your school’s Campus Activities Live article if your school is chosen.  This will spotlight your accomplishments in activities complete with photography and will be prominently placed in the story.
• Boost your resume as a Campus Activities Magazine student ambassador.
• Be recognized by the magazine as an active ambassador in print and on CampusActivitiesMagazine.com.
• Have an opportunity to earn the CAM Ambassador of the Year title to be recognized in our annual Reader’s Choice Awards issue.
• Have a direct influence over the stories and future direction of Campus Activities Magazine.

 As a student ambassador, your duties are to:

• Ensure that EACH MEMBER and the Director of the Student Activities Department are aware of the most recent issue of Campus Activities Magazine and have the chance to read articles pertaining to artists that most interest your campus.
• Drive the submission of Artist Report Cards for EVERY event held on your campus.  Report cards help other buyers preview the entertainment that you have had and lets your opinions make a direct impact on what entertainment is popular and how artists can improve their show.  In addition, for every Artist Report Card submitted, one vote will be cast for your school in our Rock & Road show giveaway, which brings free entertainment to your campus. 
• Encourage everyone associated with student activities to nominate and vote in the annual CAM Reader’s Choice Awards.  This lets you decide who the BEST entertainers are in the campus market place.  Nominating and Voting is open to anyone involved in student activities or who attend the events, so get out there and rock the vote.
• Reach out to other campuses in their area to recruit new Ambassadors and further drive interest and participation in student activities and the magazine.
• Offer story suggestions, performance reviews and any editorial input that will better the magazine.  We will also look to you to share conference and showcase highlights on the acts that appealed to you and your board.
• Provide information on your school newspaper or other media outlets widely available to your student body.  This will help cross promote not only the magazine, but the events that you hold on campus.
• Be an active participant in the web forum on CampusActivitiesMagazine.com, the first and only interactive web forum where YOU can tell the world exactly what you think. 

 This is an exciting program that offers you the chance to truly be involved with Campus Activities Magazine.  Your participation is greatly encouraged and we will always have an open ear to listen to your thoughts and ideas.
